Team Leaders

Students at Middle River are placed on Interdisciplinary Teams.  These teams consist of groups of teachers that usually see the same students.  In grade 6, the teams include Language Arts, Reading, Science, and Social Studies.  In grades 7 and 8, the teams include Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.  Each Interdisciplinary team has a Team Leader who takes the lead on team events.

The staff at Middle River is also divided into Disciplinary Teams.  These Teams consist of all staff members who teach a particular subject.   Each Disciplinary Team, or Department, also has a Team Leader or Department Chair.
